This is the ultimate book for a grammar Nazi.
It must have been written in the late 19th century or the early 20th century. Malcolm Muggeridge, the British author once said, "The last Englishman will be an Indian". The fact that this book is still used as the standard textbook for English grammar shows us why. It does get a tad ridiculous but I would like to congratulate Wren and Martin for a pretty good book. |
